WHO WE ARE
The Henry and Berenice Kaufmann Foundation is a federally chartered family foundation founded in 1967 by Henry Kaufmann and formally Incorporated in 1973. The Foundation has been successfully enriching lives with over $7.5 million in donations in Canada and internationally since that time.
The foundation provides grants to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) approved charitable organizations in the following areas:
- Arts and culture
- Education
- Environment
- Health
- Human Services

It highlights Henry Kaufmann’s love of palomino horses and his wish to leave a legacy of philanthropy to future generations.
